NAMEPA Membership Information

 

Any individual, institution, nonprofit organization, government agency, or corporation involved in the work of increasing the participation of minorities in engineering and technical careers is eligible for membership. Our member services include an annual national conference, regional conference, data book, directory, and newsletter. NAMEPA also awards national and regional scholarships for students.

NAMEPA offers membership in four categories:

  1. Individual Member: Individual members are entitled to receive all publications, attend all meetings, vote, and hold office.

  2. Institutional Member: An Institutional member (educational institution or nonprofit organization) may appoint three (3) representatives, who are entitled to receive all publications, attend all meetings, vote and hold office. Additional representatives above the allowed three can join for a reduced fee.

  3. Corporate Member: A corporation or government agency may appoint three (3) representatives. These representatives are entitled to receive all publications, attend all meetings, vote and hold office.

  4. Endowing Member: Any institutional or corporate member may show their commitment to NAMEPA by becoming an endowing member. An endowing member may appoint five (5) representatives who are entitled to receive all publications, attend all meetings, vote, hold office, and the special recognition afforded to members who support the association at this level.
